Promotion to Full Professor Workshop

Please join use for an informal hands-on workshop to catalyze your preparation for applying for promotion to full professor. During this workshop we will :
- Review promotion guidelines from individual institutions
- Design a plan and timeline for the individual's application process
- Develop narratives for promotions based on an individual's accomplishments
- Offer feedback on promotion packages with an eye to your specific institution
This workshop is designed for associate professors who have been at that level for at least three years.
If you are interested in joining us, please provide the following:
- The written promotion guidelines from your institutions and your idea of the unwritten guidelines
- Your current CV
- Three slides summarizing your accomplishments in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service.

MARM 2023 Award Reception and Dinner
The Middle Atlantic Regional Meeting's Award Reception and Dinner will be held on Friday, June 9th from 7:00PM - 9:00PM.
The following awards will be presented:
- ACS Division of Chemical Education (CHED) Regional Award for Excellence in High School Teaching
- E. Emmet Reid Award in Chemistry Teaching at Small Colleges in the Middle Atlantic Region
- E. Ann Nalley Regional Award for Volunteer Service to the American Chemical Society
- Stanley C. Israel Regional Award for Advancing Diversity in the Chemical Sciences

Diversifying the Curriculum in High School Chemistry

High School Teachers are invited to participate in a workshop on diversifying the curriculum in high school chemistry held in person at St. John's University on Saturday, June 10th from 12:45PM – 2:30PM. Dr. Sibrina Collins of the Lawrence Technological Institute will lead the workshop. This event is part of the New York ACS' celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Marie Maynard Daly.
